I think I may have a connection here.
My Gtx3 Grandmother was Margaret MacCorquodale born 1822 who married Peter MacNiven in Muckairn.
Margaret was born in Lismore, Argyll, daughter of John (1783-1875). Siblings were Alexander 1818, Donald 1824, Effy 1826, John 1815,Bell 1830 and Nicol 1828. I had thought their Mother to be Anne MacKenzie but as one of their sons was named Nicol - maybe this was his Mothers maiden name?
