Am looking for the parents of Mahala McCord born abt. 1826-1827. Mahala married Marcus Giles abt. 1848 in Hickman Co., TN. Marcus was born in Hickman Co.
On the 1840 census, Hickman Co., TN., it shows a Daniel McCord with 4 (? dau.), and on the same page shows James H. Giles, James being the father of Marcus Giles, Mahala's husband.
1850 census shows Daniel, Hickman Co., Tn., with 3 dau. listed in the household.
Also on the 1840 census is a John Mccord, with 3 (? dau.'s) and a Nancy McCord with 2 (?dau.'s).
Can anyone please help me or point me in the direction that I need to go?
Any help greatly appreciated. Will share desc. info on Mahala.
