I am hoping to find futher info on S. A. McCook (Rev. S. A. McCook).
The info that i do have on him is that he was enlisted in the 2nd and transferred to the 5th Florida Cavalry, CSA.
He married Lucina Carolone Williams, 18 October 1854 in Hillsboro County, Florida.
S. A. McCook was tax assesor & collector in Wakulla County, Fl circa 1864.
I would like to find out who his parents were and if he had any siblings. My great great grandfather, Patrick H. McCook served in the same Florida Cavalry Companies with S.A. and I am trying to find out if there is a family connection.
Lucina Caroline Williams was born 15 June 1836 in Pike County, Alabama.
S.A. McCook died seven July 1875 in Webster, Sumter County, Florida.
If anyone is connected or has info on this McCook connection, I will appreciate any help and info. Will also be happy to exchange and share research.
