We have a strange coincidence here in that both daughters of my ancestor in GA married a Maddox and a McCook respectively. Martha Brittingham married Wm McCook about 1860 and had 3 children with him including Archie, Willie J, and Sallie. They lived at Milledgeville in Baldwin County. As a girl she was from Forsyth, Monroe County. Her sister Sallie or Sarah Ann Brittenham married
Charles Maddox. Both were school teachers. Any connection.Thanks
