LIZZIE WORE A BOOT WITH A THICK SOLE>>>>>

Does anyone remember talk of an Elizabeth, or Lizzie who
wore one of those boots with a very thick sole ?
I am trying to trace one of my grandfthers sisters, and the family think that the Elizabeth McConville, with the boot, is one and the same person.
If so, she was born in Co. Down. in 1878.Married a McConville, had at least one child [as I have a very good studio portrait of her with him - possibly taken in the states. She had the wanderlust. We know she lived with several members of our family in Scotland and England, and that she went to the USA at least once. [There didn't seem to be a husband around by the time she was middle aged.]
If she could possibly fit in, please get in touch.
Many thanks,
Eileen
