How excited I was to come across all your postings on the McConnell! Being firmly entrenched as a McConnell descendant, this was a wonderful find. I am a direct descendant of Robert McConnell (b. 1702 in Ireland), and I have only recently begun following up on the work my mother had done. Believe it or not, I am in the process of setting up to create a family history calendar for 2013 for my daughters, and I have been exploring surnames to find family websites; that is how I came across your postings.

I look forward to getting your book as well as any other McConnell information that might be available. I don't have anything beyond Robert, so if there is more, please point me in the right direction!

Thank you so much!
