Janice, thank you for your reply. As far as I know George McConnell is not in my direct family line. However, I have seen the name before and have wondered if his father may have been a brother or a cousin to my great-great-great grandfather Robert. Robert was born in Pennsylvania and came to Indiana. He married in the late 1820's in Jennings County, Indiana. I thought that two families with the McConnell name in Jennings, County must have been related in some fashion. Do you have any information concerning generations prior to George and who their brothers might have been. Once again, thanks for your help.
