I'm a desc of William McConnell of Lexington, Ky, by his and 2nd wife,Jennet Teague's son Joseph b 1791. William with his 2nd family, moved to St. Charles and Pike County Missouri around 1800. I have a copy of the family Bible records that I received from another desc many years ago. Also, I have a history of the family that I did back in the 1980's, which gives a pretty good account of the McConnell's in KY. There are some errors in it but is geneally accurate.
Some accounts say that William had died by 1790. In fact, that was abt the time of his removal to Missouri. He was m. 1st to Sarah January.
The Bible record states that he was born 8 Feb 1751. His father was Robert McConnell b 10 Apr 1729, in Scotland. It is unknown whether William was born in Scotland or PA.
