Hey.
I recently have taken an interest in my family lineage, and I'm specifically looking into the Irish origins of my blood. Everyone in the family swears that the McConnell name is of Irish origin, but upon closer inspection, all I seem to be able to find are Scottish links.
Specifically, I'm looking for the lineage of my Grandmother, Mary Margaret Bishop, b. September 12th, 1923 (still living). Her mother, Mary McConnell, was born July 6th, 1898, to one Sarah Hansen, and John McConnell.
This seems to be all of the information I'm able to find on my own, and after doing an extensive search online, I came across this website. I'm messaging in hopes that someone can aid me.
I do not know when John McConnell was born, or anything beyond his name. Hopefully, I've provided enough information for some type of research to be provided.
