I found census info for Mahaley or Mahala McConkey born 1818 to Thomas McConkey. It is from 1850. I am trying to find info. on Rachel Fribbey, listed as her neice, and Ruben Frake, listed as her brother. I copied and pasted the info below.

Information from 1900 Census of Shreve, OH in Clinton Township of Wayne Co. Her name was spelled as Mahaley McConkey.

She was listed as the Head of the Household. Lived on Wells Street. She was born October 1818. She was 81 years old, single, never had children. She could read, write, speak English. She owned her house "free". Her parents were listed as being born in PA.

Living with her was:

1) Her niece Rachel Fribbey (I wonder which brother/sisters child? Neoma's?)
born May 1843 OH
53 years old
widow
had 3 children living at the time of census
Parents born in OH

2) Her sister Neoma
born July 1820 OH
79 years old
widow
8 children--2 living at time of census
Parents born PA
could read, Write, and speak English

3) Census States -Her BROTHER????? Ruben Frake
born December 1936 OH (If Mother was married 2 times, she would have both been deceased)
63 years old
single
Father born in ENGLAND and mother was born in OH

SHe is buried in Oak Grove Cemetary outside of Shreve on Cemetary Road in Wayne Co, OH.
