I found John on the 1812 tax roll for Harrison County.

I also have him marrying Marcy/Mercy in Harrison County.

On the website listed above, there are scanned images of cards with people's military service in PA. When looking through the cards for the Revolutionary War, I found a card for a "Hugh McDonaugh" for Washington County, PA. I thought that this could be our Hugh Sr. Thought you might be interested.
