Hi, I can get to a certain point in my family and then I come to a block. First I will list what I know.
Grandfather - Jewell E McCombs 1913-1994 / Wife - Gracie L Stephens
G.Grandfather - Bartlett L McCombs 1882-?? / Wife - Pearl E Sellers
GG.Grandfather - James L McCombs 1858-?? / Wife - Rutha F
James is where I hit the block. He and his family along with Bart's wife Pearl are listed on the 1910 Census. Also on the same page just above is James M McCombs and family. James M. is the son of William "Billy" McCombs and the Grandson of David McCombs and Sarah Sims.
It seems to much of a coincidence to have 2 McCombs families on the same page of a census and not be related somehow. By age I would say both James are cousins but looking under William's brothers kids I don't see a match.
Any with any help making the connection will be greatly appreciated.
