Elizabeth McCombie in Nether Ruthven, Logie-Coldstone

I am looking for information on the McCombie family or families of Logie-Coldstone in Aberdeenshire. I am descended from Elizabeth McCombie in Nether Ruthven in Logie-Coldstone who had three children out of wedlock with John Anderson in Upper Ruthven in the same parish before they married in 1781 (namely Barbara baptised 1778, William baptised 1780 & Anne baptised 1781). The eldest of the three, Barbara Anderson, married William Anderson in Ruthven in 1807 and are the ancestors of my family.

The McCombies had obviously lived in the parish for some time. The Aberdeenshire Poll Book of 1696 records John Mackomie as tennent of Mayns of Riven [Ruthven] and Alaster MacKomie and Georg Mackomie as tennents in Nether Riven and in April 1597 George Makcomye and John & Alexander Makcomeis are recorded as living in Nether Ruthvan. The parish session minutes for 1779 show George McComie as an Elder.

Unfortunately the parish records only start in 1717 and are not complete during the eighteenth century, so it may not be possible to trace the family back, however I would very much like to hear from anyone who has managed to do so or who might also be descended from this family.
