William McComb born 1775 married Gertrude Lawrence of Westchester Co. NY, widow of Thomas. Children: Susan born 1800 married John Gustin; Eliza born 1802; Maria 1803; Helen 1804; Janet 1806; and Samuel born 1812. By 1st husband, Gertrude had daughter Pamelia/ Permelia born 1794. A William McComb is listed in 1800 NYC census. Several of Gertrude's siblings moved to New Brunswick Canada, following the Revolutionary War. William was the son of James and Bridget (Mott). What happened to the children of William and Gertrude?
