Do you know anything about Robert McComb's descendents? I've got an Archibald McCombs who was born (according to his son's history in Wood Co, Ohio) 13 May 1799 in Washington Co, PA. Looking on the 1800 census, Robert is the only one who had a son less than 10 yrs old. At some time, Archibald moved to Harrison Co, Ohio, where he married Catharine Jeffers on 3 Feb 1820. I would appreciate any info you can give me on the Washington Co, PA McComb's or McCombs' families. There may also be a connection with John McCombs; Catharine Jeffers' brother Joseph married Elizabeth McCombs in Harrison Co, Ohio 25 Mar 1830. I believe Elizabeth was born in Harrison Co, Ohio and may be the daughter of John & Margaret McCombs. Thanks so much.
