Dear James I haven't been checking this site recently, so it is interesting to find these posts on the McComas Saga. Yes I did have one of the original copies, given me by my mother at her death. She in turn had obtained it from her 'Aunt Nona' (Wynona McComas, sister of Henry Clay McComas) who was an assistant in bring the 'Saga' into being and given credit for such in the book. However, in my desire to help other researchers, when a request was made for a copy I foolishly sent it to someone so that a copy could be made and haven't heard from it since. Subsequently, my hard drive failed and I lost all my email adddress, so cannot even send out requests to those on the address list for assistance in recovering it. It may be in the hands of a 'Cousin Ho' in Hawaii. I haven't been able to get her to respond in over a year or so. Thankfully, I had a copy made while in Salt Lake and had it bound. My copy did not contain the pictures referred to in the messages on this site. Only a reproduction of pictures (not good ones) of two of the early home sites with some of the McComas's sitting around on the porch and lawn. Would be interested in what family history you may have (if any) that I don't. I look forward to your response. All other McComas researchers please let me hear from you as well as I have lost all contact with the loss of my previous computer. Thanks. Regards, Richard S. handyman941@home.com
