Sherry, John Wesley must have been born prior to the detailed census records I have for John and Hannah. If so, then I may have some information about his wives Fannie E and Ella D and several of their children who are buried in the Landmark Baptist Cemetery in Holly Springs next to John and Hannah in the following order:
1. Fannie E. McCollum
May 21, 1866 - June 17, 1891
2. Ella D, wife of J.W. McCollum
Aug 9, 1870 - Nov 23, 1899
3. J. Linton McCollum
Son of J.W. and F.E. McCollum
189?-189?
4. Winnie D. McCollum
Daughter of J.W. and E.D. McCollum
1895-1896
5. James D. McCollum
Son of J.W. and E.D. McCollum
Oct 11, 1899 - July 5, 1900
6. Mary Beulah McCollum
Daughter of J.W. and F.E. McCollum
Aug 19, 1887 - Jan 24, 1912
The markers do not identify him as John, only J.W., but the fact that he is not buried with them and they are buried beside John and Hannah is reasonable evidence.
Let me know if this coincides with the information you have about his other wives. If so, Evelin would have been his first wife, not his third.
