I am searching for the parents of my great grandfather John
I am searchin for the parents of John Anderson Mcollum, my great grandfather who was born in possibly Ohio or Illinois possible date 1860 1870. He was married to Lilly Jane Bennett of McClean and Woodfford counties IllinoisThey had 5 children 5 Eliza Elizabeth, Charles Newton, Annie Mabel, Oscar Milbeam, and my grandmother Bertha Helen born July 26, 1897 in Woodford County, Illinois. The story is that her father died right before her birth or shortly after. I have a picture of John Anderson and Lily Jane HELPwiththeir children taken in Des Moines Iowa.
