Looking for descendants of Matilda McCollister that married Evander Duck s/o Ephraim Duck and Lucy Beasley. Evander Duck was born abt 1820 in Louisiana and appears in 1850 Hancock Co., MS census with children Matilda Jane age 10,
Polly Ann age 8, and Evander Jr., 8 months.
His wife is listed as Zelphy age 30, though another researcher has her listed as Matilda McCollister...
I have more to share on this DUCK line and looking for descendants to work on connection with DUCK family of Amite Co., Mississippi..
