I have been searching my McColley records to place this Alexander McColley. I show a Alexander McColley, born 27 Jan 1782, who was son of James and Isabel (Jameson) McColley. James was son of Alexander and Mary (Pinkerton) McColley. This Alexander was married to Mary Knox and died in 1819/1820. Would certainly be interested in learning more and in knowing if you have xerox copies of this file. Thanks.
