Diane and I have switched to private e mails--I didn't want to communicate entirely on the open forum. Perhaps she will pass on our communications, but I passed on to Dallas McColley many pages of hand-written family history by my Aunt "Tillie"--that I believe he has integrated into his work, although I guess our wing of the McColley family branched away from his wing some generations ago. Praises go to both of you for researching this so conscientiously. I was trying to clarify any American indian connection with the McColley family, and when I was home in August in Indiana I felt I had at last identified a connection between the Lamphire family and the American Crow Indian tribe, but I guess that is the only link except where Frances McColley married Bertrum Moyers that Bertrum was of some American indian tribe. Frances herself looked as if there was some indian heritage in the McColleys, but I guess it was only the way she looked. My personal e mail is JamesTEilers@aol.com
