I am also researching the McColley's of Crown Point IN. Deniese and I have friends for a while. My husbands Grandmom was Mary Viola McColley Smith. She was the daughter of Jeremiah McColley and Lucy McColley ( they were 1st cousins I believe).Lucy's parents were James Nelson and Mary Ann Jones McColley.
I have taken the family back to Alexander McCauley of NH. I have been working on the family for about 30 yrs now. I have mega info on them and their allied families: Lamphier, White, and many others. Glad to see you here. Hope we can help each other. Dallas McColley and I have worked together for many years also getting the McColley's in order, He has been a joy to work with. I guess he and I have a lot of info between us.........Marlene PS
Jeremiahs partents were Lyman and Sophia Everett McColley.
