This is a long shot, but I'm looking for any information on Cyrus Colley's (12/18/1800 - 11/4/1876) parents and/or siblings. He was born in York Co. SC. His family moved to Caldwell Co. KY when he was very young his parents died when he was a small child. He married Elizabeth Howard (2/10/1805 - 2/7/1890). They settled in Pulaski Co., MO and had 10 children.
I'm grasping at straws at this point - several people are searching for Cyrus's parent and siblings to no avail. I'm starting to wonder if maybe 'Colley' wasn't the actual spelling of his parents names. My maiden name is Colley and there were several times in school that my name was misspelled as 'McColley' 'Cooley', 'Coley', 'Calley', even 'Lolley'(don't ask me where that one came from!). So I know it's possible that our name could have originally been something else and was mispelled somewhere along the line.
