I have an original postcard photograph of “George H. McClurg – Tonica, Illinois”, which I’d like to get back to descendants or family members. Photo was taken in abt 1910, and shows a man, his wife and a daughter about 1 year old. Postcard was addressed (but not mailed) to: Mr. W. B. Short, Coal City, Illinois.

I found George H. McClurg in 1910 census for LaSalle Co., IL (where Tonica, IL is located), and it shows George was a pastor of a Methodist Church. Censustaker wrote name as McClung. Wife Blanche D., born abt 1882. Daughter, Marjorie, age 11 months, born abt 1909. By 1920, family was in Kankakee (Kankakee Co., IL) and there was a son George H. Jr., born abt 1916. In 1930, family lived in Grand Rapids (Kent Co.) MI.

Get back to me at margerice@prodigy.net if you are related to this family.
