Does anyone have any information on John McClure. I think that he came from either Ireland or Scotland. He was born in 1775 over seas and came to American sometime between then and 1796. He married Mary Pursley from South Carolina sometime between 1784 and 1829. He and Mary were me ggg grandparents. They had a son also named John who was born in Virginia in what is now Smythe Co. He was born May 23, 1826 and he Married a Mary Melissa Pursley. they are my gg grandparents and they had a son named Robert Samuel who was born in 1872. Robert married Martha Emmaline Gregg. They were my great grandparents and they had a son named Vesper Gilbert (Tobe). Tobe was my grand father. If you can help me with any information I would love it. And I would love any stories from their lives that you might have. Please Help.
