Just found a Sir John David McClure who was an Assistant Master staying with another branch of my tree at the 1881 Census. Only problem is that according to the info I have on Sir John his father was living at 114 Swinley Rd Wigan, and my branch of the McClures were living at 14 Swinley Road. Looks like a typo, so does anybody lay claim to Sir John and can shed an light on him, did he marry etc?
Thanks,
Lewis D. D. Hawley McCann
