This info may be a little late for your research, but I hope it will be helpful. "Immigrant John" Houston that came to New Castle DE from Northern Ireland in 1735 brought with him his mother, Margaret McClung (Houston). She was the widow of Samuel Houston who had died in or near Londonderry. Along with the Houstons were Margaret's brother and his eight McClung children. Margaret died at the age of 98 and is buried in Providence Church cemetary near Lexington, VA. I have seen several McClung graves at the Timber Ridge Church just off Highway 11 near Lexington, VA. They go down to the seventh generation in America with DOB and DOD, etc.
