William John McCluney, Crumlim, Co. Antrim

Looking for information on William John McCluney (1839-1910) who married Annie (surname unknown). His parents were William McCluney and Jane (surname unknown). I have recently learned that he lived on a farm, was in charge of an English estate in Co. Antrim North Ireland probably in the town of Crumlin. He was married with 2 children, then remarried to a much younge woman and had between 5 and 7 children. The names of the children are: George, John, Thomas, William, Robert, Annie, Jean, David, Nellie (twin), Elizabeth (twin)-though not sure on all those names. I do know that George, Elizabeth and one other came over to the United States.

Anyone whose genealogy is similiar to this, I would appreciate any information you had, I am trying to find out more about William and Jane and where they came from. I believe they (or their parents) came from Cluney, France and were Huguenots. Supposedly my ancestor who left Cluney, France took on the surname McCluney (derived from the town they left) and made their way to either England or Scotland possibly or directly to Ireland where they were English estate owners.

Thanks
Sean Murtagh
