well morgan there are 3 main mccloud lines and no one has been able to link them. most mccloud came from the usa, where mcleod and macleod kept that spelling in canada. there are exceptions to this.
my mccloud line have macleod cousins in canada. yet my grandfather was the first mccloud of this line to settle in canada.
