My Grandmother, Mary K McCloskey, of Godfrey Illinois,
died a few weeks ago at the ripe old age of 98 and
within 1 month of age 99. Her husband and my grandfather
died at age 61 in the early 1960s. My grandfather, James
D. McCloskey, was ENT MD and served in the european theatre
during WW II. The survivors of Mrs. McCloskey are her daughter and my mother Mrs Patricia Provost of Orange CA
along with her husband and my father Anthony Provost
of Orange CA, her son James McCloskey of Carlinville,
Illinois, and her daughter Margret Hammons of Godfrey,
Illinois. Each of her children has sons and daughters
who also survivors.
As for a McCloskey in San Francisco, I know of
a cousin who I believe is deceased Michael McCloskey
who a spokesman and legal counsel to the Sierra Club.
Mr Hasson, I hope this helps. They may or may
not be the McCloskeys you seek.
