Scott,
I looked back at Eston's obit and you are right. I would only be speculating, but you know of our family's propensity for siblings marrying the siblings of siblings spouses! It would be pure speculation on my part at this point, but it wouldn't surprise me if we find that Hulda was married to a sibling of her sister Catherine's husband before she married Eston. She would have been 26 at the time she married Eston, plenty of time to have had and divorced a first husband. Another mystery to keep on the back burner......I'll do some pecking around and see if I can find anything....
