My Mother's Maiden name was McCleney and were also in Alabama.
I was always told that the McCleneys spelled with one N are all related....I'm curious as to how far back that connection might be.

My Grandfather was James Samuel McCleney
His brother was George Edward McCleney

My Gr-Grandfather was George W. McCleney
