MEADOWS, BUSTER MEADOWS, both of Lewisville; C. MEADOWS of Dallas; sisters, Mrs. GEORGE AKEMAN of Winters, Mrs. OSCAR JENNINGS of Carrollton, Mrs. OMA CAPS / CAPPS of Dallas, Mrs. MARGIE HIGGINS of Fort Worth; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Chapel services 2 p.m. Monday, Rev. J. O. YOUNG officiating, Harrington Funeral Home.
Death certificate information: Mrs. MATTIE ELIZABETH MCCLENDON died at Baylor Medical Center on March 12, 1966. Her address: 223 Edwards St. at Lewisville. White female, widow, born October 9, 1891 in Denton County, age 74; housewife. Father W. R. MEADOWS and mother LEEANNA SPARKS. Buried at Little Elm Cemetery in Denton County.
Notes: Leeanna Sparks was the daughter of JAMES LEWIS SPARKS and MARY BARBARY EMBERLIN; the family lived near Stewart’s Creek and/or Rector in Denton County. W. R. Meadows was WILLIAM RILEY MEADOWS.
