Could her name possibly be elmira instead? Until almost the 1900s all our Mcs were named from previous ones and we had one elmira born in 1850 & another in 1883 and while researching them we also found an elmira probably born in the 1700s in the bible of a Mc who died around 1800 or so on rootsweb. So I was just curious.
