I am in search of any information about a Hannah Naughton. Her middle initial is either H. or M. Born very approximately 1825. Born in Hamilton County, near Cincinnati, Ohio. She was daughter of James Naughton and Mary Welch, both born in Ireland. Her mother died in infancy. She was reared and schooled in household of David Brown near Jamestown, Ohio when her mother died. I have other posts for a David Brown.
Hannah Naughton was the second wife of William McClelland. Married July 3, 1883. She was a member of the Second United Presbyterian Church of Xenia, Ohio. She was an active member of the Womans’ Relief Corps No. 29 of Xenia, Ohio. She survived her husband. She stayed on the McClelland farm for some time before moving to Xenia where she died. She died very approximately in 1901.
i am a descendent of the marriage between Hannah Naughton and William McClelland. The first wife of William McClelland was Jane Watt. Jane Watt died at an early age.
