Ala. My folks came to USA in 1802 from Co.
Armagh, N. Ireland. They were associated with
the McClellands there. Earliest report of McAdam, McClelland and BEST (surname) family is from 1651 as ""coming from Scotland on the same boat"" they are known to have inter married in townlands adjacent to Milltown, Derryaugh Townland, (Now Milltown Parish) Co. Armagh and some are still there.I am commenting on the given name HENRY.. iT IS quite popular there now and was back then also..It helps to trace genealogy by the given name also since it is associated usually with names of the wife or other spouse.I am a past member of Zanesville Musking Genealogical Society. My folks arrived there about 1810 accompanied by a Valentine BEST died 1817.Guess that is about it for now but it is very highly probably that you have a connection to Co. Armagh..other names there are Minnis, Jackson (our president) Wilson, McClelland.. best to all seasons greetings jim.
