Please note that I referenced Cumberland County in the previous post, but there is also a Cumberland Township in Adams Co (York Co pre-1800). Cumberland Twp is just west of the town of Hunterstown. Cumb Twp was incorporated in 1749 and at that time included present day Franklin Twp (which was split off and inc in 1785) and nestled between Menallen and Hambiltonban Twps. There were several McCleary (various spellings) families who settled in those townships. Remember, those townships were adjoining and the Monocacy Trail ran thru all of them.
