Goodmorning list am looking for info on my ggmother RoseMary McCleary,s family.
Here is what I have, so far.
She married my ggfather George McGrath in the Associate reform Church Newburgh NY on Dec. 16, 1861.
Had two children George McGrath 1862 and Robert H. McGrath 1863, Robert died 1865.
Ggfather killed in Civil War 1864.
She then married John Allison 1865 or 1866.
Two children John and James Allison.
Don,t know what happened to John, but ggmother married again, around 1870.
She married John McClellan Bell.
Two more children Alexander and Elizabeth Bell.
She diedJan 21, 1916 and is buried with her last husband, the plot in the cemetary belongs to John McClary, who I believe is her father.
Her Father name was John McCleary and mothers name was Jane Demsey.
I believe they came from Northern Ireland.
I found them coming over on ship called the Mohongo and landing in NY harbor April 1,1852.
She died in Newburgh NY, where she lived since at least 1856 that is when she became a member of associate reform church.
Any connections would be great.
George
