I have traced my ancestry back to James McClave born in 1760 in Ireland, arrived in U.S. in 1798, died in NYC in 1836.He was my great great great grandfather. His son was also James McClave born in NYC in 1800, died in NYC in 1881, my great great grandfr. He had ten children, including Edmund Wilkes McClave (1836-1911), my great grfr. His youngest son was kenneth (1889-1971), my grandfather. My father, also kenneth (1916-1999) was oldest of four, born and raised in New Jersey (Newark/Maplewood). Would like to go back before original James in Ireland and before that in Scotland. Thanks.
