I believe your Daniel was a Daniel Jr. who lived in Perry Co. There were maybe 3 Daniel's, which causes much confusion. The old Daniel who married the Stephenson, came to Hi. co. which adjoins Perry Co. He married Eve Lazenia Edwards after 182? Old Daniel dies in Hi.Co. in the 1840's, but when there is a dispute over his estate, it names Daniel Jr. as Administrator in 1848. So this must not be the same Daniel. One of Daniel's sons must have also named a son Daniel. Old Daniel died at about the age of 92 and his children and 2nd wife carried it to court over the estate. The children named are Daniel Jr., Elizabeth Lewis, Mary Parkes, Thomas, Nancy (Maybe an Atkissin), Susan, and John C.,Sarah Russell, and his 2nd wife Eve. Some of these children were dead, but their children inherited the parents part. Any information regarding this will be appreciated. I too am confused. Joyce Garner Mayberry
