Charles, I do have a list of the wife and children of John McClain it is as follows
John McClain married Rebecca Stephans on 12/13/1800
C. Elizabeth 2/1803-8/9/1827
Joseph 8/16/1804-?
Andrew 11/16/1806-?
John JR. not sure of his dob or dod.
Rebecca 1/12/?-1871
Patzy 8/9/1815-?
Alexander 8/8/1816-2/24/1890
Alexander is my great great grand father.
My great grand father was Charley McClain 2/28/1861-11/16/1952 He married Anna Diemer Smith. They were married on 2/24/1884. Alexander had 11 children with Hannah Matilda Reynolds. Charley was the youngest. I hope this helps. Susan
