Jacob McClain shown in 1850 census age 33 with dau Melissa age 7, John age 5, and Hannah age 1. No wife shown and I've had no success tracing ANY of these family members.
Believe Jacob is son of John and Keturah McClain shown next to them in census. John and Keturah in 1850 still have daughters Charlotte, Melinda, Sarah, Margarette, Barbary, and Clarissa at home. Two others in household are Francis Fisher and name I can't read.
Any help on this out there????
