according to the book I have by Paul Prindle, Samuel wife Isabella (Riddell) emigrated about 1764 from Co Monaghan, Ireland with children Robert, Hugh, Joseph, and John, along with Samuels brother William to the Jersey City-Newark, NJ area and later removed to Brunswick, Rensselaer Co NY. also Samuel and William were 1st cousins of Robert McChesney who in 1732 came from Co Armagh. The children later changes to include " Robert in company with his brothers Hugh, Joseph, and Samuel, and his sisters Mary, Nancy, and Jane came to the United states in the year 1764. Will check for more info later and let you know. Robert
