GenForum cut out all my indenture spaces on the first submittal. I replaced them with dashes.

We know nothing about seborn's parents but Rachel was the daughter of Levi C. Chapman b 5/8/1798 in Georgia, and Frances Chandler b. 5/18/1812 South Carolina. In 1830 they were living in Wilcox Co., AL and in 1850 in Macon Co. Next door was 87 year old Nance Chandler b 1763 in NC. Grandmother?

Their children were:
-Erasmus b 1827 m Suzanne Williams
-Henry b 1829
-Rachel b 1831 m Seborn S. McCathern
-Lovina b 1833 m John Williams
-John b 1836
-Matilda b. 1839 m Thomas Chisum
--Tom m Janie ?
---Frank m Lima Ragsdale
---Fannie m Harve Rose
---Annie m Henry Chatman
-Levi Jr. (Bud) b 1842 m Frances Chandler
--Mary Ann m ? Baxter
---Henry m Ona Cleveland
---Gladys m Harvey Whitehead
--Stella m Rube Garrett.

In the 1850 census there were some Chandler children from GA visiting the Levi Chapman family - Amanda, Martha, George, and Sarah, age 8. In 1868 Walker McCathern, Burke Co. Ga Married a Sarah Chandler.
