Hi

Does anyone have any information about my great great Grandad William McCaskill, Stornoway, Scotland, born 1856, who moved to Liverpool as a ships carpenter, and married Sarah Ann Hughes, having two sons (Colin and William) William was killed in WW1 as a stretcher bearer.

I dont have my gt gt grandads date of birth so am having trouble researching
