Robert McCaskey and family, Scotland 1860s-1880s

Looking for information on Robert McCaskey and family who ran a hotel at Bunessan, on Isle of Mull (Scotland) in the late 1870s and 1880s.

Robert was the son of Henry McCaskey and Agnes McLachlan. Robert married Isabella Lindsay in 1868 in Greenock. Per 1881 UK census, they had at least three children: Archibald (b. ~1869), Agnes (~1873) and Robert (~1880).

Isabella's parents (Flora & Donald Lindsay) lived with them for awhile. Flora died in 1878, Donald in 1886.

I'm curious what ever happened to these McCaskeys, whether any decendants could help in expanding the Lindsay side of family tree beyond Donald and Flora.

I'm decended from Isabella's brother Archibald (Flora and Donalds son) who immigrated to U.S. in 1870s, after spending some time at sea.

Jim Lindsay
