Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum
message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles
will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will
no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.
I must have been thinking off the top of my head, rather than using the official data in front of my face! I had just received an email from the GenForum staff informing me that they had created the McCarver forum, upon my request. They asked that I go right away to the site and post a message. However, I was informed about eight other surnames which I had requested be added to the GenForum site. I did post nine messages on nine new sites the same night! This message is the one which I goofed up, big-time. After checking all my records, I, too, show John McCarver (Sr.) to be the person who married Mary Hamiliton, not William! The rest of my message is correct (just the wrong name for John)! I will be happy to send by email a Descendant Report on John and Mary's descendants as I have them. I also have quite a few of the ancestors of Mary HAMILTON, should you be interested in that information. My husband is descended from John and Mary through their son, William H. McCarver. William H. married Anna B. SPENCER, of whom I also have information about some of her ancestors. My email is: [ email@example.com].1.
