Hi Russ!

Thanks for the response, I forgot to mention I'm a librarian! All of the information I have up to this family member (Michael) is verified by census records and any other document I could find. I have at least two sources, usually more, for each tree entry. Like I said, I'm not a genealogist, but I work with a few very good genealogists who have been helping me verify my information.

I know from burial records and obituaries that Michael and his son William were both born in Fayette County Pennsylvania and are both buried there. What I can't verify is Michael's father. I found one entry on Gencircle listing his parents as Michael (d. 1816) and Susannah Foreman (b. 1776, alive at least through the 1850 census, because she is listed as 74 and living with one of her sons). I found an 1800 census record that lists somebody of the right age to be Michael in Pennsylvania, but I can't verify. On the same site, one member mentioned that Michael was born in Northern Ireland, ultimately, this is my interest.

Thanks!
