When I see a McCart, it really catches my eye. I am looking for
parents of Polly McCart born in Mo. abt. 1840. She married inTx. in 1853 to John Thomas Butler. She was in the 1850 Census in Andrew Co. Missouri. Her dad's name was James McCart. And she had a couple of siblings listed ahead of her and two or three listed after her. Does any of this ring a bell with you? At any rate, I am glad to finally find a McCart! Polly was my stepfather's grandmother. My stepfather is now 102 years old. What a present I could give him, if someone could tell me about her family. Thanks....here's hoping! Eldrena Lee
