Given that my gg grandfather was born George McCartney Wilson and is buried in the McCartney cemetary, I am assuming that the connection to the McCartney's is through his mother. I think they sometimes gave the mother's maiden name as middle name to children. Do you have any information on any McCartney women who may be his mother?
